This week there is the opening of DANGER: tragedy, in the Gardner Laboratory Theater, along with the first day of the Honor Band Ceremony.

The Honor Band Festival will be held from Sunday November 6th to Monday November 7th and will feature special guest conductor Dr. Leo Sakomoto of California State University – Bakersfield. Students will also work with Dr. Heidi Johanna Miller, Dr. Karrin Meffert-Nelson, and Dr. James Patrick Miller throughout the festival.
Hillstrom Museum produces: LEARN ABOUT/ ALL: George Ault’s Underground Broadway and His Unremarkable Life / Ralston Crawford: Signs of Torn, Oscar Bluemner’s Sonnet Series, and Stuart Davies in Black and White, three focused exhibitions from the Vilcek Foundation, New York City.

The INFORMATION ABOUT/SAME the project examines artist Ault, his work, and the chronic mental health issues that plagued him throughout his career. Ault experienced many psychological problems, including the loss of three of his brothers and his sister-in-law to suicide, and Ault’s sudden death was also ruled a suicide.
It is compatible with INFORMATION ABOUT/SAME the sign is a three of the exhibitions organized by the Vilcek Foundation New York City, with the works of three American Modernists, is the primary focus of the Foundation’s art collection.
