Pandey has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate sector. Prior to joining Godrej, Gaurav was the Chairman of Burman GSC, a joint venture of the Burman family and Golden State Capital. He is an Economics Honors graduate from Delhi University and did post-graduate studies at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode.

During the last five years of his administration, the region grew by six times in booking value, four times in total, and ROCE has increased significantly to 27%. In fiscal year 2022, net profit for the North region is the largest contributor to the company’s profit and loss statement.
